Before choosing an area/group to farm, try seeing things from their perspective. Your potential clients are looking for more than just an agent, their looking for someone who’s generally concerned about their needs and well being. On average, people change home every 4-5 years, so you’re going to be locked into a very long commitment. Once you determine who you’re going to farm to, you need to determine your method of farming.

Our jobs go beyond helping people buy and sell homes. It doesn’t make sense to help a person purchase a home that will eventually end in foreclosure. Which is why it’s also our job to help homeowners and future home buyers avoid facing foreclosure, or a mortgage payment they just can’t afford.
